With the landfall of hurricane Gustav coming today we should expect the oil companies to be back at their usual games. That game is “see how much we can make off of this”. It’s no secret that oil companies have had record profits since the raising of gas prices (aka legalized theft). We always here some lame excuses for why this weeks gas prices went up another 15 cents. This excuse is obviously going to be the hurricane. With production shut down as of right now and the possible two weeks it could take to get restarted, we are sure to pay for it at the pump. But who actually knows if this is legit? With all the BS excuses they throw at us who knows what to believe? So when you go to fill up in a few days and the price is 30 cents more than what you remember, ask to yourself if this is justified.
