I Hate The “Drill Here Drill Now” People

Published by jparsh at 10:37 am under Uncategorized Edit This

I’m not religious but DEAR GOD can these people shut up. I’ve read some of the dumbest comments about those in favor of drilling the life out of mother earth. People honestly think that the thought of offshore drilling dropped the oil prices giving us the lower prices we see today. WRONG. The price of oil has always been pure speculation by Wall Street and there has never been a good justification for the soaring prices that left many people unable to fill up their gas tanks. Now that speculation just so happens to be going the opposite way and we are seeing declines in record time. But for those people who think that if and when the offshore drilling plans stop that the prices will skyrocket again, you are dumb as dirt. The oil that could be retrieved from our shores is not enough to last more than a few years and even if we drilled starting right now it wouldn’t be readily available for 10 years or so. So to end this rant of hatred towards the stupid population of America… LEARN THE TRUTH OR SHUT UP!

I think you’re being unnecessarily harsh towards dirt.

You know it’s a bad idea when thousands of single-issue voters are chanting it at a Palin rally.

It’s the equivalent of demanding more typewriters during the technology boom of the 80s.
